Well, it's been a busy month hasn't it? So today I think we all need a day off. So why not put the kettle on and prepare to put your feet up ~ maybe add a tasty treat like the brownies above which you can order from Emily's Kitchen Bakes on Etsy.
If you still have gifts to get just have another look at all the handmade gifts featured in this month's Handmade Christmas Challenge. Even if you're done shopping it'll give you an excuse to stay put and enjoy more cake!
If you love handmade I suspect that you also like making. The two often seem to go hand in hand. If you are a crafter then it's more than likely you appreciate the skill and work that goes into handmade products.
If you want to make something special yourself this Christmas there's almost infinite inspiration out there on websites and blogs, on TV and in books and magazines.
Here are just a few of my favourites.
These are from the fabulous docrafts website ~ you can get their crafting supplies or similar from The Works or Amazon
If you know someone who's lucky enough to be going on an adventure then here's a lovely selection of gifts that will wish them both Merry Christmas and Bon Voyage. Just click on the photographs to get the details of these handcrafted gifts.
When I was planning the Handmade Christmas Challenge I intended to feature tools and supplies that would make great gifts for crafters. There's lots on offer, however, unless you're very familiar with their craft stash and know what they have already it's quite hard to choose. So I decided to feature courses instead. These are a real treat for creative people ~ you can choose one that will advance their knowledge and skills or you can opt for a craft that will be new to them but you know they'll enjoy.
