Cool!

Are you feeling the heat today? If, like me, you're almost at the point of moaning that "it's too hot", then here's a quick and cool treat for you. It's "cool" in so many ways - it's frozen, it's simple, it's cheap and it's low calorie (a zero hero if you're following the Weight Watchers programme).

You probably won't even need to go to the shops, all you need is a tub of Greek yoghurt and some fruit. I used Fage Total 0% yoghurt, some tinned apricots and some frozen cherries.

Simply puree the fruit and put at the bottom of a silicone mould then top with the yoghurt. If the yoghurt is very thick just thin it with a little water. Pop into the freezer for a couple of hours and then enjoy!

This yoghurt and fruit combo also makes great ice lollies.

And if, as in our house, you have something then the dogs have to have something too, then why not make them a treat too! Just click on the picture for the free recipe.
