You'll probably be hearing a lot about "just a card" in the coming week - and for good reason. It's a brilliant campaign aimed at promoting small sales from small businesses.
Even if you only buy a single card from an independent designer you are still helping to support them. It's a few pounds toward their business overheads but it's also a way of spreading the word about their designs. You buy a card because you like their work - you send it to a friend - they show their friends and hopefully somewhere down the line someone might buy a painting or a print.
Find out more about the Just a Card campaign here and do what you can to help - share on social media and of course buy and send "just a card".
I'll hopefully be writing a few more "just a card" posts next week but for now I'll leave you with this lovely selection from UK Etsy sellers - just click on the photos to go to their shops.
Why not use Just a Card week to stock up on all the cards you need. Make a coffee, fire up your laptop and enjoy a hassle free shopping trip.
If you haven't already got a list, here's a simple one for you to print out.
Think about all the cards you might need this month or this year, browse through some beautiful card shops and find the perfect greeting.
