If there's ever a time when your self care routine is going to be disrupted, that time is more than likely to be the run up to Christmas. There's so much to do and so many other people to keep happy, that it's very easy to forget about yourself. This year try to make yourself a priority, looking after your health and mental well-being will stand you in good stead during the festive season. You don't need a lot of time but you should take some time. Think of this as an alternative advent calendar and give yourself a healthy treat each day. I'm going to suggest some things you can do that are quite seasonal but you can do anything you find beneficial. If you tried the 30 Day Self Care Challenge back in July you may want to repeat some of your favourites. Today I'm starting the way I start every day - with coffee! Don't just grab a cup and swig it down while you're doing a dozen other things ~ savour the delicious aroma while it's brewing and why not try some festive flavoured coffee, use your favourite mug, spoon, coaster... and above all ~ enjoy!
